Barbara Ann Corcora

 Barbara Ann Corcoran was born on the 10th of March, 1949. She is an American investor and speaker as well as consultant. The Corcoran Group is a New York City-based real estate brokerage. In 2001, it was sold to NRT at $66 million. Corcoran resigned from the company shortly thereafter. Corcoran was one of ABC's first Shark investors was a featured guest of each episode of Shark Tank. In February of 2020, Corcoran had made 53 deals, the largest being a $350,000 investment which included 40 percent of Coverplay. Corcoran was born in Edgewater (New Jersey) as the second of ten children from a working-class Irish Catholic family. Florence Corcoran's mother was an excellent homemaker. Edwin W. Corcoran Jr. her father was a multi-talented employee throughout Corcoran's early years. At times, the family depended on food delivery for free from a nearby grocery store.
